• The Qanvee Fluidized Bed Filter - In-Tank Moving Media Filter features self cleaning filter media and effective biological filtration.
• The filter media is moving constantly permitting only the strongest nitrifying bacteria to survive and flourish, old bacteria is eliminated through the constant friction and motion of the filter media.
• Nitrifying bacteria feeds on the ammonia in the aquarium, creating effective biological filtration
• Installs inline with your existing air pump to oxygenate the aquarium water
• Oxygen rich water combined with nitrifying bacteria creates effective bio filter to handle removal of ammonia and nitrite
• Can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums
• Intake sponge provides additional physical filtration
• Media will float initially and begin tumbling within several days
